[What's New] Gamefound Community Playtesters – Test Your Game with Engaged Players
Credibility matters in crowdfunding, and player feedback is key. That’s why we’re launching Gamefound Community Playtesters (GCP) - a free initiative connecting game creators with engaged playtesters. How does that work?
For Creators:
If you plan to launch your project on Gamefound, you can apply to have your game tested by one (or more) of many playtesting group from GCP. Here’s how:
- Submit your interest via our contact form or reach directly to your account manager
- We'll provide you with a list of playtesting groups for you to choose which would be the most appropriate for your project
- Join Discord channel we'll provide you together with your group
- Receive feedback, testimonials, photos, and videos to support your campaign
For Playtesters:
Are you a part of a gaming group and would like to join GCP to test upcoming games and help shape them before launch?
- Apply via this form
- If accepted, we'll add you to the list we share with creators
- Wait to hear from the creators directly
- Communicate with the creator in a private Discord channel
- Play a game, share your thoughts, help shaping great games!
Important Notes:
- GCP is free – creators cannot pay playtesters; they can cover only shipping costs.
- Gamefound facilitates connections but does not manage agreements and is not responsible for reviews, deliveries, etc.
- Respect, fair treatment, and clear communication are essential.
Meet the Playtesting Groups!
We’re thrilled to introduce some of the first groups joining GCP! They promise to bring expertise, passion, and dedication to the playtesting process. The list contains already over 20 groups from all around the world: from New Zealand to Albuquerque.
